 Men's College Scholarship 

Deadline: April 1, 2024 at 11:59pm ET (8:59pm PT)

Description:  The Men’s College Scholarship has a quick, easy, no-essay application and will award more than $50,000 in increments of $500-$1,000 — issued to recipients directly via ACH used as desired.

This scholarship is designed to identify and reward outstanding high school seniors who have demonstrated an ability to excel in the fields of academics, extra-curricular school activities and community involvement. It is available to any male, graduating senior who is enrolling in a four-year undergraduate college program that commences in the fall of 2024. The scholarship is awarded through the Foundation for Fraternal Excellence, a registered 501(c)3 organization. Current or future membership in a fraternity is not required.

Carla Savage - Wells Memorial Scholarship 

Deadline: April 2, 2024 

Description: The Carla Savage-Wells Scholarship Foundation, Inc. is proud to announce that it will award at least two scholarships for the 2023-2024 school year. Each scholarship recipient will receive up to $3,000.

Scholarships will be awarded to a member of the Nandua High School Class of 2024 and to a graduating senior from all other high schools in Accomack County, Northampton County, and the Tidewater area, including students who are home schooled and are otherwise eligible to receive the scholarship.

As with prior awards, the ideal recipients of this year’s scholarship will embody, in word and in deed, the spirit and civic-mindedness of esteemed and beloved educator, Carla Savage-Wells.

Hampton Roads Chapter (HRC) of the Rocks, Inc. Scholarship

Deadline: April 4, 2024

Description: The Hampton Roads Chapter (HRC) of The ROCKS, Inc. will award scholarships to high school seniors for SY 2024-25. The scholarships are available to students who have demonstrated academic achievement, leadership ability in school and community affairs, and have a desire to serve as officers in the U.S. Army. The recipients must meet minimum requirements of a 2.5 cumulative GPA, SAT/ACT scores of 900/17 respectively. The recipient must provide proof of enrollment in Elizabeth City State (ECSU), Norfolk State (NSU) or Hampton University (HU) and enroll in and remain enrolled in the Senior Army ROTC program for the first year.

Eligibility Requirements: The recipients must meet minimum requirements of a 2.5 cumulative GPA, SAT/ACT scores of 900/17 respectively. The recipient must provide proof of enrollment in Elizabeth City State (ECSU), Norfolk State (NSU) or Hampton University (HU) and enroll in and remain enrolled in the Senior Army ROTC program for the first year.

Tabb High School Alumni Association Scholarship

Deadline: April 13, 2024 

Description: The Tabb High School Alumni will award three $1,000.00 scholarships to three outstanding seniors. This scholarship is both a merit and need-based scholarship designated for a senior who demonstrates academic achievement, good work ethic, and positive role model on and off school premises

Peter Francisco Memorial Scholarship 

Deadline: April 15, 2024

Description: The Peter Francisco Memorial Scholarship was established in 2013 by members of the Society’s Scholarship Committee. The purpose of the scholarship is to help a deserving student obtain higher education.

Beta Omicron Chapter of Delta Kappa Gramma - Recruitment Grant

Description: The Beta Omicron Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma, an international honorary society of women educators, wishes to recognize a graduating senior. This senior must be committed to serving others by planning a career in education or social work. Please click here for more information.

Virginia EL Supervisors' Association - Scholarship

Deadline: April 26, 2024 @ 5:00pm EST

Description: The Virginia EL Supervisors’ Association is proud to be able to offer scholarships to English Learners who are planning to continue their studies at a college, university, community college, or work-force training programs.

The following criteria will be used for scholarship consideration:

  • Enrolled in an ESL program for at least one year in grades 6-12 in a Virginia public school
  • Enrolled in 12th grade at the time of application
  • Financial need
  • The strength of the student produced essay

American Society of Military Comptrollers - Hampton Roads Scholarship

Deadline: April 29, 2024

Description: The American Society of Military Comptrollers, Hampton Roads Chapter, is a non-profit educational and professional organization for persons, military and civilian, involved in the overall field of military comptrollership. This year, we are offering three scholarships to recognize outstanding graduating Hampton Roads high school seniors planning to pursue a baccalaureate degree with a major in a financial/resource management-related field. 

Eligibility Requirements/Application: The scholarship application and all required documentation must be submitted by April 29, 2024. 


  • 1st Place - $2,500
  • 2nd Place - 1,500
  • 3rd Place - $750

Yorktown Rotary Club - Service Award

Deadline: April 30, 2024


The award will recognize students who have: 

  • Contributed significantly to and exhibited leadership in community service during their high school years, 
  • Participated actively in and contributed significantly to school activities, 
  • A cumulative GPA of at least a 3.0, 
  • Best articulated in a short essay their own answer to the question: Rotary's motto is "Service Above Self." How could society benefit if all citizens lived by the Rotary's motto?
